All FFA members need to see Mr. McCauley today for permission slips to attend next Tuesday's fieldtrip.
MS summer musical meeting will be Thursday during resource. There is still time to sign up.
Any students interested in taking a hunter Safety class, see Mr. Tarrell.
ACT aspire testing will be April 28th and 29th for 9th and 10th graders. Please plan on being in school on those days. The testing will take place the first two class hours of the day. Bring a pencil, a charged chrome book and a calculator. See Mrs. Jackson with any questions.
There will be a senior meeting in the art room during resource today.
If you are bringing a date to prom who is not from Highland schools, you need to make sure your form has been returned to the office.
My name is Isabel Tucker and I am a senior at Highland Schools. One of my graduation requirements is to complete a senior exit project. This year I have taken on the mission of building a monument in honor of the Veterans of Highland. While speaking with the members of the American Legion/VFW, they informed me that they had been wanting a monument in Highland for a while. I felt that my project was the perfect opportunity to help them achieve their goal and also thank them for their service.
This is a project that is close to my heart as I have many family members who are Veterans. My dad served as a Marine, my great-uncle Gene fought in Vietnam, my great-grandfather Sommerville and great-grandfather Tremelling fought in World War II, my great-great grandfather Slopak fought in World War I, and my cousin Danny is currently serving in the Air Force.
My mentor Dennis Richgels and I have been working together on finding the dimensions of the monument, the materials needed and who will be providing them, who will be featured on the monument, and the location. As of now we have that information and we are now asking the community for donations.
If you are able, we would greatly appreciate it if you could make a donation to help us complete the project of building a monument for the Veterans of Highland.

A set of Chevy keys with a world dairy expo tag on it were found in the north parking lot. Please stop in the office if you think they may belong to you.

There is a sign-up sheet in the library for any Middle school student that is interested in participating in the summer school musical. You will have a meeting to decide on the musical to be performed.
There will be a junior class meeting today in the band room during resource.

The senior class meeting scheduled for today with Ms. McCarthy has been cancelled. It is rescheduled for next Monday at 3:10 in Ms. McCarthy’s room.
Reminder to the HS wrestlers that your banquet is tonight at 6:30 at Iowa-Grant.

Remember to take home everything you need to be virtual next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Addie Michek is working on hard on her Junior Project, but could use your help! She is trying to collect photographs from all over the world to help build her "Wall of Smiles." She has a good start, but we know the power of social media and how awesome it could be with the help of the larger community. Read her letter for more info, and feel free to contribute if you feel inclined!
