NEWS BULLETIN APRIL 14, 2021 The football combine is on Friday at 1:00. Students in grades 8-11 who are planning to go out for football in the fall should attend. MS & HS Students: If you are planning to eat school lunch, please make sure to let your teacher know in the morning so the cooks can prepare enough food. There will be a MS summer school meeting Thursday during MS resource in the gym.

NEWS BULLETIN APRIL 12, 2021 There is a sign-up sheet in the library for any Middle school student that is interested in participating in the summer school musical. You will have a meeting to decide on the musical to be performed. There will be a junior class meeting today in the band room during resource. There will be a senior class meeting today during resource in the Art Room. The senior class meeting scheduled for today with Ms. McCarthy has been cancelled. It is rescheduled for next Monday at 3:10 in Ms. McCarthy’s room.

Reminder to the HS wrestlers that your banquet is tonight at 6:30 at Iowa-Grant. There is a sign-up sheet in the library for any Middle school student that is interested in participating in the summer school musical. We will have a meeting next week to decide on the musical to be performed.

Addie Michek is working on hard on her Junior Project, but could use your help! She is trying to collect photographs from all over the world to help build her "Wall of Smiles." She has a good start, but we know the power of social media and how awesome it could be with the help of the larger community. ATTENTION SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS: Friendly reminder: All Butter Braids need to be picked up TOMORROW between 3:30-4:00pm. Please remain in your car and your orders will be brought out to you. They need to be delivered immediately or kept frozen until delivery.

NEWS BULLETIN MARCH 3, 2021 Attention Sophomore and Juniors: Butter braids will be delivered tomorrow. We will do a drive by pick up at 3:30. You must to come to school and pick them up. The butter braids cannot be left here.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The high school and middle school concert scheduled for this week has been postponed. The new date is March 23, 2021.

NEWS BULLETIN MARCH 1, 2021 Sophomores and Juniors: Applications to take dual credit courses in the Fall are due today. See Mrs. Hesseling if you have questions. The middle school will be celebrating Read Across America day tomorrow. Wear your comfy PJ’s and make sure you have a good book or two to enjoy in your classes. You may get some extra reading time in classes, but make sure you still have all your materials for your classes.

ATTENTION HIGHLAND MUSIC FANS AND SUPPORTERS: Mark your calendars and join the Highland Music Department on Thursday, March 4th, 2021 for a night of rock music. They have worked hard to make this concert a reality, and are excited to share live music for a small group of people in-person. The performance will also be livestreamed for any person(s) interested in tuning in! The link will be shared closer to concert day.
