Athletic Announcement
This is what the 6th grade classroom looked like today. Fishing, fire building, shelter building, and first aid skills to last a lifetime! It doesn't get better than this. The beef stew, corn stew, and apple dessert for lunch were pretty amazing cooked over the open fire! We are so fortunate to be able to continue offering programming such as this at the middle school level! We didn’t ask, but it’s easy to assume students would chose to have an interactive, outdoor classroom every day if the week if given the opportunity. #cardinalpride #HCScardinals

As our community mourns the loss of a Highland Community Schools alumni it’s safe to say Levi Linscheid left a lasting impression everywhere he went. As we browsed through yearbooks his contagious smile was always one of the first to pop off the pages. His involvement in athletics, clubs and organizations showed that he wasn’t just here because he had to be, he was a proud member because he chose to make the most out of every opportunity possible. There is no doubt in our mind that the legacy to “Live Like Levi” will have a positive impression on the youth in our community for years to come. #highlandthrowback #throwbackthursday
