Last week, the Highland students experienced Shakespeare's Twelfth Night at American Players Theatre in Spring Green. Despite the chilly weather, the students enjoyed the comedy! Before the performance, an actor from APT came to Highland Schools to introduce the show to the students. The seniors were acting and performing themselves as a way to prepare to understand Shakespeare's challenging language and complex plot developments! #cardinalpride #HCScardinals

If you have not paid your dues or stopped in for a permission slip, do so today so your teachers can sign you off. Senior Football players: Please get your senior write-up and picture to Kim by Wednesday.

There is another opportunity to support our Highland athletes on Sunday, October 6th! The IGH Wrestling Club will be hosting a Drive 4UR School event from 9:00am - 2:00pm at the Iowa-Grant High School. The Fillback Family of Dealerships will donate money to a wrestling fundraiser for every person who comes in to test drive a Ford vehicle. There is no obligation to purchase, just stop in a test drive a Ford and $20 dollars will be donated! Thanks in advance for your support! Punt, Pass, and Kick has been postponed today and is rescheduled for Saturday, 9-27-19 at 2:00 p.m. Any parent who is available to help, we would great appreciate it.

Freshman - seniors are eligible members. Play practice will begin tonight at 6:00. Please meet in the commons. This year’s production is titled "Is There a Martian in the House?" There are many overdue library books out. Please return or renew. There will be an open gym shoot around for MS & HS basketball players Sunday at 9:30 am. Punt, Pass, & Kick will be held after school on Friday for students ages 8-12. If you need a registration form, stop in the office.
