NEWS BULLETIN November 19, 2019 The bus for the MSGB game against Fennimore leaves at 3:40. Please dismiss at 3:25. Good luck girls! The bus for the GB game against Riverdale leaves at 4:45. Good luck ladies! There will be a HS student council meeting on Wednesday at 9:30. The NHS and the girls’ basketball team are holding a toy drive. Please bring in new or gently used toys by December 1st. The boxes will be located in the hallway right outside the office. Any HS FB players attending the State FB tournament on Thursday need to stop in the office and pick up a parent permission form and a Pre-excused absence form. Forms must be turned in before you go. MS Students: this is the week for you to bring in your trail cam pictures to Mr. McCauley. We will display them and choose the winner on Friday.

We hosted our 2nd Annual Breakfast & Books with Grandparents last week and had a record turnout! This special day is quickly becoming a student favorite as elementary students proudly invite grandparents from miles around to join them at school for breakfast. Highland Elementary students enjoyed exploring STEM activities at the 2nd annual STEM night hosted here in Highland in conjunction with UW-Platteville students. The UW-Platteville students are enrolled in the Key Concepts and Characteristics, a Middle Level Education course, taught by Dr. Jodean Grunow, senior lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and academic staff member in the School of Education at UW-Platteville. We are honored to continue this partnership and excited to see our elementary students show interest in STEM fields. The middle school is looking for "new or gently used items to add to our Christmas Store collection. The Store will be open for gift buying, to the Elementary students December 12th and 13th . If you have items to donate to the store they can be dropped off at the main office from now until the 11th. NEWS BULLETIN November 5, 2019 In recognition of Epilepsy Month we are asking students and staff to wear purple on Thursday. Any MS students who had a picture retake can stop in the office and pick up your pictures. MS Wrestlers and Girls basketball players: Make sure you have all of your forms turned in this morning so you are able to practice after school. FB players, FB evaluations are tomorrow. Juniors, 8 am, soph, 8:45-9:45, Freshmen, 3:30-5:00. Any questions, please contact Coach Aide. Any changes due to the weather, Coach Aide will contact you. Any HS Students who have any interest in being on the mock trial team should meet in Mr. Scanlan’s room at 3:15 today. This is an informational meeting. Today is the last day to sign up for the Unity Club.

NEWS BULLETIN November 4, 2019 HS Students who would like to join the Unity Club should sign up on the sheets posted around school. Your first meeting will be on Friday at 3:00 in Mr. Campbell’s room. Middle School students are reminded that the FFA is inviting you to Movie Night after school. The movie Barnyard, will be played at 3:45 and will be completed by 5:30. Food and drinks will be supplied. Check with your FFA representatives for any further details. In recognition of Epilepsy Month we are asking students and staff to wear purple on Thursday. There will not be Jazz Band on Tuesday. There are no band lessons today.
