Blackhawk Lake is looking for maintenance and office staff who are at least 15 or older. All applications are due by March 1s and must be dropped off, mailed, or emailed to the Park Office. If you are interested you can stop by the high school office for an application or you can find one in the email from Mrs. Hesseling.

THANK YOU! Senior Maya Tarrell would like to thank the Highland Lions Club, Fillback Ford, and the Highland Booster Club for their recent generous donations toward her senior exit project. Maya has created a Story Walk project! Story Walks encourage reading as well as physical activity. Two Story Walks were completed this fall and were placed on school grounds for students and families to enjoy. Thanks to the newest donations, Maya will be able to provide several additional Story Walks this spring.

My name is Malayna Fredericks and I am a senior at Highland High School. As a part of my Senior Exit Project, I am raising money for Hodgkin's Lymphoma awareness in honor of the late Aaron Lancaster. Mr. Lancaster was a teacher, guidance counselor, and a coach at Highland for 10 years, as well as a graduate, a principal, and a community member of the Darlington Community. All money raised will be donated to the Iowa County Cancer Coalition in Mr. Lancaster’s name. On Saturday, January 15th, the Varsity girls and boys basketball teams will be playing a double-header in Highland and will wear the Hodgkin’s Lymphoma awareness t-shirts during warmups. Football players attending the State Tournament on Thursday need to stop in the office and get a permission slip and a pre-excused absence form.
State Football tickets MUST be purchased online. There will be NO cash sales. All tickets must be redeemed on a mobile device. Your parents have been emailed the details to purchase your ticket on-line.
For those attending the Middle School Boys’ Basketball game Thursday, please be aware that River Ridge now has a masking requirement.
All basketball teams currently in season, will have Individual and team pictures taken today after school. Please be sure to have your order form and payment ready for the photographer.

The Jostens rep will be here on Wednesday. He will meet with Seniors at 2:55, Freshmen at 3:15 regarding class rings, and any HS students interested in purchasing a letter jacket at 3:25. If you are purchasing a letter jacket, you will need $75.00 deposit.
All FFA Members, your fruit and cheese sales sheets are due on Wednesday or earlier. Please bring them in to Mr. McCauley.
There will be a meeting for HS boys interested in playing basketball, during resource in the commons.
