April 10th, 2026
Dear Football Families in Elementary, Middle, and High School,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to personally invite you to an important community meeting regarding the future of our district’s football program. Your voice and participation are essential as we consider the direction that best serves our students and community.
As many of you know, we currently operate an 8-person football program. Moving forward, we are exploring whether continuing with this format or transitioning to a cooperative (co-op) program with another district would better meet the needs of our student-athletes. This decision carries significant implications for participation opportunities, competitive experience, and the overall sustainability of our program.
Meeting Details:
Date: May 6th
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: The Commons
This meeting is designed to provide information, answer questions, and most importantly, gather input from our families and community members. We strongly encourage all who are able to attend to share their perspectives. Your feedback will help guide our decision-making process.
During the meeting, we will also conduct a community vote to better understand the preferences of those invested in the program’s future. While this vote will not be the sole determining factor, it will play an important role in helping us gauge community support and direction.
Your attendance and input truly matter. We value your partnership and commitment to supporting our students, and we hope you will join us for this important conversation.
Thank you for your continued support of our schools and our student-athletes.
Sincerely,
Josh Tarrell
Superintendent/Principal
